Greg York
President and CEO
Greg, a third-generation auto retailer, joined Vann York Auto Group in 1987 to lead the newly-acquired Toyota, then Honda franchises. He became president of Vann York Auto Group in 2000 and has grown the Auto Group founded by his father Vann York to ten franchises. Greg was named a regional finalist for the TIME Dealer of the Year Award, given to four dealers in the country based on dealership performance and community involvement. A High Point native, Greg is an active community leader, recognized by the 2023 High Point Enterprise Citizen of the Year award. He has served as chairman for Business High Point, High Point Bank, United Way of Greater High Point, Boys and Girls Club of High Point, and Westchester Country Day School. He has also serves in leadership for High Point Regional Hospital, High Point Rockers Baseball, and Boy Scouts of America Troop 4. A graduate of Duke University and UNC’s Kenan Flagler Executive Institute, Greg enjoys exploring the North Carolina outdoors with his wife Caren
Bryan Lawlor
Chief Operating Officer
Bryan came to Vann York in 2009 as a used car manager at the Honda store. Since then, he has been the used car manager and general sales manager at Vann York Nissan, used car director of Vann York Auto Group, and general manager of both Vann York Chevrolet Buick GMC and Vann York Toyota. As COO, he oversees the operations of the Vann York Auto Group franchise dealerships in North Caroline. A graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Bryan was a varsity college athlete. He now enjoys attending his three sons’ sporting events.
Derek Church, CPA
Director of Accounting
Derek joined Vann York Auto Group as director of accounting in 2023. He brings 15 years of accounting experience to the team, including 7 years at Forbis LLP in North Carolina. Derek is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelors and masters in accounting. Derek lives with his wife and two sons in Oak Ridge, N.C. and is proud car fanatic.
Rick Hayworth
Parts and Service Director
Rick started with Vann York Auto Group as a technician at Vann York Pontiac in 1981. He trained to be one of the first Isuzu technicians in the country. Rick continued to earn certifications, working his way to a GM Master Technician. Meanwhile, he attended High Point University to earn his degree in marketing. Rick has held several management positions before taking the role to oversee the fixed operations of Vann York Auto Group. In his free time, Rick loves fishing and spending time with his grandkids.
Cynthia Glotzbach
Human Resources Director
With over 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Cynthia joined Vann York Auto Group to lead the human resources department in 2022. Her passion lies within identifying and nurturing improvements within an organization to foster growth and employee retention. Cynthia has degrees in nutrition sciences from North Carolina State University and finance from University North Carolina at Pembroke. Cynthia enjoys traveling and time her husband and son in their home outside of Greensboro, N.C.
Josie Davis
Director of Business Development and Customer Retention
Josie started her career at Vann York Auto Group in 2012 as a receptionist at Vann York Toyota. Since then, she has held roles in customer relations, service retention, and business development. Josie brings her experience in training and customer service to the management team, where she leads strategic initiatives in developing employee and customer relationships. Josie lives in her hometown of Thomasville, NC and is a very busy mom of three wonderful kids
Rick Campbell
Director of Digital Operations
Rick joined Vann York Toyota as a salesperson in 1991. Beyond his skill for selling vehicles and creating relationships with customers, Rick built the Vann York Auto Group’s internet department from the ground up. A pioneer in automotive internet sales, Rick now leads the internet sales, digital marketing, and online platforms for Vann York Auto Group. When Rick isn’t working on the websites, he develops real estate with his partner Anthony.
Caren York
Vice President of Corporate Real Estate and Construction
Caren has taken on a variety of operational and strategic roles at Vann York Auto Group. She led the construction and opening of the renovated Vann York Chevrolet Buick GMC in 2014, the Vann York Collision Center in 2017, and the new Vann York Honda building in 2021. As VP of Corporate Real Estate and Construction, Caren oversees improvements of the auto group’s physical footprint, as well as land acquisition and corporate real estate development. Caren has championed and led several Triad-area organizations and nonprofits, including the United Way of Greater High Point, Community Clinic of High Point, Family Service of High Point Foundation, Westchester Country Day School, and Communities in Schools of High Point. A graduate of Duke University and Emory University Goizueta Business School, Caren enjoys time in the garden with her dogs and husband Greg.
